Job Context

Silicon Orchard Ltd. is a Dhaka-based custom software development company delivering AI, web and mobile, cloud, and quality-engineering solutions to clients across three continents. We are opening a three-to-six-month, primarily remote internship program with two tracks Recruiter and Marketing. Both roles support a U.S.-based client, so working hours follow U.S. Eastern Time (ET). The position is remote, though occasional visits to our Dhaka, Bangladesh office may be required. It is a hands-on opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and build real experience.
All interviews are conducted in English, and strong English communication is expected across both tracks. Across both tracks, candidates must have prior hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to create, edit, modify, and refine documents, requirements, and files as part of their daily work. Candidates who perform excellently during the internship will have the opportunity to join Silicon Orchard in a junior full-time role. Prior familiarity with the tools and platforms listed under each track is strongly preferred.

Track 1:  Recruiter Intern

OVERVIEW

Support our talent acquisition team in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for software, AI, and design roles. Ideal for someone naturally curious who loves to explore new things and learn how tech hiring works end to end.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source candidates across job portals, LinkedIn, and developer communities.
  • Review and shortlist resumes against role requirements.
  • Conduct initial outreach and screening conversations with candidates.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database / applicant tracking system (Zoho Recruit).
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Research talent-market trends and new sourcing channels.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Naturally curious eager to explore new things and always learning.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of major job portals (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, BDJobs).
  • Organized, responsive, and detail-oriented.
  • Has knowledge about the Zoho Recruit or other candidate database or ATS System.
  • Prior hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to create, edit, modify, and refine documents, requirements, and files.

TOOLS & PLATFORMS (EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)

LinkedIn, Indeed, BDJobs, Boolean search techniques, ATS/CRM tools (e.g., Zoho Recruit or similar), and Google Workspace / Microsoft Office.

Track 2:  Marketing Intern

OVERVIEW

Support Silicon Orchard’s brand-building and digital marketing across content, social media, and campaigns. We’re looking for a fluent, trend-aware, and creative intern who understands how to promote a brand and engage an audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, schedule, and publish social media content.
  • Research current marketing and technology trends and competitor activity.
  • Support content, email campaigns, and newsletters.
  • Draft posts, captions, and promotional copy that stays on-brand.
  • Track campaign performance metrics and prepare simple reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Up to date on current marketing and social media trends.
  • Understands how to promote a brand and grow audience engagement.
  • Familiar with major platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X).
  • Prior hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to create, edit, modify, and refine content, documents, and files.

TOOLS & PLATFORMS (EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)

Design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite), social schedulers (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Zoho Campaign), email/marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), and analytics
